Academic Senate for California Community Colleges
The Academic Senate for California Community Colleges represents the faculty of the Community Colleges, ensuring effective participation in the formation of statewide policies on academic and professional matters. The Academic Senate strengthens and supports the local academic senates of the 108 California Community Colleges.
California Colleges for International Education
In 1985, several California community colleges joined together and formed a non-profit, educational consortium, California Colleges for International Education (CCIE). CCIE is dedicated to the ideal of increasing international understanding through education.
California Community College Chancellor’s Office
The Chancellor’s Office is the administrative branch of the California Community College system. Located in Sacramento, this state agency provides leadership and technical assistance to the 108 community colleges and 72 community college districts in California. It is also responsible for allocating state funding to the colleges and districts.

The Department interacts with other State departments on a daily basis in terms of preparing, enacting, and administering the budget; reviewing fiscal proposals; analyzing legislation; establishing accounting systems; auditing department expenditures; and communicating the Governor’s fiscal policy. Faculty Association of California Community Colleges
Founded in 1953 by a group of Long Beach City College faculty members, the Faculty Association of California Community Colleges (FACCC) was originally named the California Junior College Faculty Council (CJCFC).
Since Prop 13 moved the bulk of funding control (and therefore power) to the state Legislature, FACCC's main office is in Sacramento where its president, board of governors, volunteers, lobbyists, and other professional staff work hard representing the faculty voice.
Community College League of California
The Community College League of California is a nonprofit public benefit corporation whose voluntary membership consists of the 72 local community college districts in California. It was formed in 1990 as the result of a merger of the California Association of Community Colleges, the California Community College Trustees and the Chief Executive Officers of the California Community Colleges.
California Community Colleges Registry
The California Community Colleges Registry is a large scale database containing the names, qualifications and desired position(s) of potential California Community College (CCC) faculty, support staff and management job applicants. The database is utilized by the 72 CCC Human Resources offices, representing the 108 California Community Colleges.

California Community College Commission on Athletics (COA)
The Community College League of California’s Commission on Athletics (COA) is an integral part of California’s extensive community college system. As authorized by the State Legislature, the Education Code provides the COA the opportunity and authority to establish the rules and regulations to administer the athletic activities of the nearly 25,000 men and women student athletes in the state.
California Postsecondary Education Commission (CPEC)
The Commission serves California "to assure the effective utilization of public postsecondary education resources, thereby eliminating waste and unnecessary duplication, and to promote diversity, innovation, and responsiveness to student and societal needs through planning and coordination."
High Tech Center Training Unit of the California Community Colleges
The High Tech Center Training Unit of the California Community Colleges is a state of the art training and support facility for community college faculty and staff wishing to acquire or improve teaching skills, methodologies, and pedagogy in Assistive Computer Technology, Alternate Media and Web Accessibility. The HTCTU supports High Tech Center programs at one-hundred and fourteen community colleges and satellite centers. More than ten thousand students with disabilities are enrolled in High Tech Center programs state-wide.
MESA - Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Achievement
One of the country's most dynamic and successful academic enrichment programs, MESA works with thousands of educationally disadvantaged students so they excel in math and science and graduate with math-based degrees.
MESA works closely with industry partners and the University of California, the California State University, the California Community Colleges, the State Department of Education, American Indian education centers, school districts and individual schools. MESA is administered by the University of California.
American Association of University Professors
The mission of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) is to advance academic freedom and shared governance, to define fundamental professional values and standards for higher education, and to ensure higher education's contribution to the common good. Founded in 1915, the AAUP has helped to shape American higher education by developing the standards and procedures that maintain quality in education and academic freedom in this country's colleges and universities.

California Community Colleges Satellite Network (CCCSAT)
The mission of the California Community Colleges Satellite Network (CCCSAT) is to provide the highest quality digital telecommunications delivery system for distance education in the State. CCCSAT supports the academic mission of the Palomar Community College District while serving its diverse surrounding communities. Our mission reflects our support of the California Community College system, and the Chancellor's Office, which funds the CCCSAT grant.
