Site Selection

In developing Study Abroad and Domestic Study Travel Programs, consider the following:

á       Where in the world have you lived or traveled?

á       Where do you feel comfortable in taking a group? Participants will expect you to be knowledgeable about the program site.

á       What locations best relate to your discipline or subject?

á       What sites might appeal to participants?

á       Where do you have contacts? For example, you may know professors at a college or university who could be guest lecturers. Maybe the University has dormitory rooms available. Maybe you know a person who could help with on-site arrangements.

á       Where does Hartnell College have contacts?
The Boronda International Study Program has visited countries on four continents. Please ask the Center staff for more information.
